Winter.... It's here again! It's that time of year when we dream of warm weather, robins, planting flowers etc. But as long as we try to think positively it will pass by much more quickly than we realize. (At least that's what I tell myself when I can't feel my fingers each morning)
Thanks ahead of time to those of you who show up like troopers for your riding lessons..."you tough little riders who can't stand the thought of missing a lesson make it all worthwhile!"
Thanks to Erin Batty for the slew of pasture snow pics! You're amazing!

We have room for one or two training horses.
One of these stalls may be available to a boarded horse . The services page also offers boarding and lesson information, training rates, additional services, barn rules and more.
Feel free to contact us.

Happy Holidays!
Thanks to everyone for all of the food, gifts and friendship!

Horse shows 2010!
Heads up kids and parents! Some of you have expressed interest in showing next year. Keep in mind this is a good time to get your stuff! We have catalogues available for Christmas/show season shopping. Feel free to ask questions! We're happy to help.

Elliott Stables Window Decals
We currently have a few with the farm name. They're priced at $12.00 each. Let me know if you'd like a personalized version. They're available for $15.00.The one pictured below is one of our own. Any you would purchase wouldn't have the phone number on them.
The Turkeys are here! Well, actually they're at "Elliott Stables East". Kory named them Kevin and Tiffany. Let's see if I can get them tame enough to be handled. And yes, we bought them to keep them off someone's dinner table. I think we'll keep then hidden until at least after Christmas.

We welcome "Little Bit O Farm's Spanish Harlem" to our lesson program.
He's sure to be a favorite. Pics coming soon!
Posters are here!
Of course TP and Jasper are the first to be featured. They'll be great stocking stuffers! Our thanks to Erin Batty for the specatular pictures! The first two shown below are available. The third (of Jasper's left eye) is coming soon. They're currently priced at $4.00. A couple of examples are posted in the crosstie area and feature the farm and horse's name.

Stuff we could use, that you might be pitching out!-(recycling is always a good thing!)We need little buckets for feed- If you've ever watched me set up feed, you'll have noticed some of the horses get supplements etc. We can always use little buckets that fit into the feed holes of the stalls. (I'll have to measure to see how tall they can be) If you have any oxyclean buckets or small plastic buckets of any other kind that you plan to pitch, feel free to send them our way to see if they'll work out for the horses. Also, any old bath towels are great to have around in the crosstie area.....Thanks!

Chompey

Bernie
Want to help feed the goats/chickens? The chickens love stale chips, bread etc. (just no chocolate). The goats, Bernie and Chompey, have fun with it too, so if you have any old breadstuffs you'd like to contribute they would be welcome. Thanks to Elke Clemmons for her weekly contribution of bread!
